HMSE is geared toward students between the ages of 15-19, with particular commitment to recruit women, diverse candidates and students looking for alternatives to traditional college.

Students should be able to easily demonstrate that they’re hardworking, resourceful in the face of challenges, willing to acquire and develop new skills and be a team player. Good candidates should also have good attendance history and have a general knowledge of functional math.
